Copper Coin Ballet Company’s 2026 season brings a vibrant mix of energy and artistry to the stage. We kick things off with Rockballet at The Muni on September 12, an exciting blend of classical ballet and iconic rock music. The holiday season returns with The Nutcracker at UIS on December 5 & 6, a festive favorite filled with magic and tradition. We close the season with the sweeping beauty of Swan Lake at UIS on April 17 & 18, a powerful and timeless classic that showcases the strength and storytelling of ballet.

Join us for an evening of island-inspired elegance at Sunset Lūau, a special fundraiser for Copper Coin Ballet Company on May 30, 2026 at Illini Country Club. The evening begins at 6:00 PM and concludes at 9:00 PM, featuring dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction.

One of the highlights of the evening will be a beautiful traditional hula performance by our dancers, taught by our very own co-president, Lisa Coakley, bringing the spirit and storytelling of Hawaiian dance to the stage.🌺
